Piuui is an application designed to alert the user (parents, grandparents or other people) about the presence of a child in the car, ensuring the welfare of the kid and the whole family, preventing children from being forgotten on board. Unlike other solutions, you, your car and your child doesn't need any special device to use Piuui. Just install it and use it. The application automatically detects when the car is in motion and assumes that all children enrolled are aboard. When leaving the vehicle, Piuui detects the movement and sends you an alert that the child is still in the car. You must perform the checkout of the child manually (insecure method) or by reading a QRCode positioned on site that is visible only when the child is not onboard (for example: on the backrest of the car seat or the baby comfort support). You can print the QRCode on the website (http://piuui.com) or use any label with QRCode that you have available. If checkout is not effected in 30 seconds, an audible alarm is triggered, and the user receives a notification. -Geographic location of the user; -Geographic location of the alarm event; -Speed of the vehicle; -Distance from the vehicle after landing; -Vehicle movement (on board) and walking (landing) detection; -Economy: to avoid unnecessary energy consumption, Piuui turns off GPS when realize a long time (about 2 minutes) without displacement (for example, when your smartphone is on the table during your work), reactivating the GPS when a movement is detected. WARNING: this app makes continued use of GPS in background to allow "onboard" detection, user location and alarm events location. Battery Use: "Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life." To prevent the user forget to activate the application (which could lead to a situation of danger), Piuui runs in the Background and the user is prompted to allow the use of geo-location all the time (always).
